This time, Carolyn vents a bit at a person who left her a rather mean note about “stealing” her photo when she posted it to Pownce… even though she never claimed it was her photo, and as we all know, Pownce places the “photo by…” at the bottom of the image that credits the photographer. Go figure. Also, Daniel Burka wins for grossiest gross-out ever with his picture of eyeball mountain. Yum. And a GIANT thank you to everyone who donated to the Breast Cancer Ride 2008! Thanks to the tremendous outpouring of support, Carolyn was able to SMASH her donation goal to pieces. Again, thank you to everyone that donated to this extremely important cause.

Carolyn (..and Kevin) I agree with you completely, you’re lucky your person “apologized”. Mine just kept bitching to take it down I wanted to be the one to stand up to the nonsense and keep it up but she threated to play dirty and I don’t really need that drama. I woke up one day and my flickrmail was filled with hate…sadness. It’s the internet get over yourself — *you* put it out there, when people like it they will either be polite enough to link to it…or rude enough to steal it as their own, we both were polite and we got shat on. How rude. Great show as always, who did the album art btw, it’s nice, really nice.
@Cwluc: I was surprised too by the apology - but I’m glad that her anger was misdirected at me and she later apologized. When did you have the problem with a photo - was it on Pownce too?

Carolyn oh yeah it was drama drama drama, I linked it on pownce - had this nice though of how nice it was to go to bed peacefully (i kid you not I still have the text), went to bed, and woke up in hate. It was not a good morning. I actually remember thinking if I flipped out on her would I be wrong? Anyway she turned out to be a royal you know what, deleted all her photos on flickr anyway…I unfriended her cause anytime I saw her photos uploaded I thought to myself how much of a witch she really was. It was a beautiful photograph I’ll never know why she choose to ruin it for anyone who saw it.
I really was under the impression that most people wanted to share their art. It would be different if you guys had made claims they were your images or you were trying to make money. People, can’t we all just get along?
